Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead role in several TV dramas. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. This film won an Oscar and received critical and commercial great success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Over the years Alexandra has been involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. These projects included British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. She was also part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
